That's what happens when you install a bunch of extra aero crap without doing testing. Rumor has it that either one of the side faring or the front splitter went which caused the crash.

A bit of unfair armchair quarterbacking there. This car had been at speed many times and was quite well built. Odd shit like this happens when you push the limit.

This car just got a new aero package that had never been run before. I guess the official story is that it created too much down-force causing it to lose control.
