This latest kick of creating so many "special edition" models of these cars is getting old fast.
So is this a limited deal or did Chevy just decide to use the ZL1 name on a mass produced vehicle? I'm sure there will be more then 69 of these built, but just how many? All in all it's a good looking car, but I could do without the foglight pods. They look out of place in my opinion, but that's not really an issue in the end. Nice work GM.![]()
yes, yes I did.I think you need to go read up on your Camaro history. The z/28 was the top dog back in the day.It is somewhat upseting that it is not a z28 because zl1 makes it seem unattainable but maybe its just me![]()
The ZL-1 was the rarest of the rare and bad to the bone. I don't know why they just didn't stick with the z28.
Because Z28 slots below the SS. Naming it Z28 would have been stupid.
Oh, no you di'int.![]()
WHY all the black fWONking plastic? God, I hate that, on any car.

Whatev,
Black plastic is cheap. Leaves room for mod money so I can decide if I want to chrome it up or color match.

That's a lot of my point.
You are actually advocating the manufacturers to cheap out on stuff so you have something to spend your money on later?![]()

Nah, cause when you ask to switch it out to something nicer it's an automatic $500 increase on it. No sense in putting something quality there when I am liable to change it in the future anyways.
