The Ram got a Recon today

Where was the leak showing up in the cab? Did you silicone the recon or do any other moisture protection?

It was in the actual fixture. Dodge said they would replace it with another and another and another. That is not a fix. It leaked so bad, that it burned out the third brake light but not the cargo lights.

I did add an extra layer of silicone protection to the Recon, before we installed it, in hopes that it doesn't leak. I have a Recon on the Ford for the past 3 years, with no leaking. :thumbs: So, I am hoping this one will not leak. It looks really well sealed up.

Thanks Shanin, I thought maybe it was leaking past the light into the cab. I have heard of others having the same problem with the OEM units. Guess I don't have to worry about it since we can't seem to buy a rain around here. :uhoh:
