Hey guys, thought I'd bring this to light. I sent Hunter the link so it's only nice to share with others. This is what can be accomplished with a little work and dedication. For all you guys with older model cars and trucks that have faded paint....

They used a rotary, but the exact same thing can be accomplished with a porter cable and a little more time. This is with the M105/205 combo recommended in the detailing sticky.

I don't really have the patience to do that. Today I washed the truck and I was glad I was done after a basic wash.

Yeah it is a lot of work but dang does it look good! I'd love to buy an old junker and see how long it would take me to do that.

Like i told Matt, a $200 investment in a buffer could save you more than $200 in paint fixes down the road. and in my sitution, i want the truck to look like new for as long as possible. since i'm not ever selling my truck, i think $200 is a great investment.

exactly how I see it.

Yes it is a ton of work but well worth it when you stand back and look at it and it is nice and shiny and no swirl marks.

Thanks again Matt for bring me up to official OCD status :dunce:
