First truck I can remember my Dad having, 1972 Chevy 1/2 ton with a 454. It had a veterinary box in the back. Still had that truck, minus the vet box, well into my teens as a farm truck.

We always had one of these for pulling horse trailers, or a Goose Neck for hauling hay and equipment.

I learned to drive in a horribly beat up '76 or '77 F250, very similar to this one

My dads first truck that i remember as a kid was a 78 Chevy heavy half, just like this one... he had a matching canopy too.

and mom had a 76 Cordoba, I remember it pretty well too 360V8, cream interior exterior, it had signal lights on the front fenders that you could see blinking from inside the car and I specifically remember closing the big ass passenger door on my foot once!

like this one.

My dad always talks about the cool cars he had before I was born like a '65(?) Impala, '68 GTX and '72 Duster 340 but he's always had boring junk since I was born. He traded the Duster on a new '76 Volare and then traded that on a poop brown '78 Lebaron. I remember the Lebaron. Then he had two Plymouth Reliants my grandparents gave him, then a '94 Cutlass Ciera, a '97 Cutlass Supreme (I sold him that one) and currently an '05 Focus that he thinks is the greatest car ever even though its pretty basic and a turd.

My mom has an '05 Hyundai Santa Fe and before that a '00 Caravan (complete POS even though it was new), '87 Voyager, '81 Plymouth TC-3, '78 Mustang Ghia (v6) and a '76 Volare. I remember the TC-3 and I used to climb in the window like the Dukes of Hazzard as a kid and I remember her letting me shift the 4 speed.

My dad's Lebaron and mom's TC-3 are the earliest ones I remember since I was born in '81. My mom sold the Mustang when she was pregnant for me.

The ONLY GM my parents had, the entire time I was home was a 1979 Buick Regal Sport Coupe Turbo. It was white with blue interior. They bought it brand new, and it was loaded.

It was mostly all Fords for me growing up, and my first 4 cars/truck were Fords  I didn't switch to the Dark Side until I was 19 :D2

Mom now drives a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix GT. Her first GM since that Buick, now that the ol' man passed on. My step dad was FORD ONLY

I remember the folks having a 75 Mustang, 78 Z/28, and my dad restored a 71 Challenger R/T when I was like 6 or 7 and kept it about a year or so. The Z/28 was totaled in 81 in a 7 car pile up that left my dad with back injuries to this day. They replaced the Camaro with a Datsun 200sx and later replaced the Datsun with a 1985 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe, and a week later my dad bought an 85 Ranger. Parents split up about 3 years later, mom took the Bird, dad replaced it with a Dodge Conquest TSI that was a HUGE POS. My dad kept that Ranger until 1990 and 400K miles later when he replaced it with my uncle's 1989 Chevy Scottsdale that my uncle had bit off more then he could chew payment wise. Dad still has the 89 1500, and a 04 Cadillac, and a 2004 F-150 Lariat.

There were a couple of random cars they had over the years mixed in there too. A Triumph Spitfire, a couple of VW Beetles, a Pinto, a couple of Harley Davidson bikes too.
