Driving skills aside, that's pretty fucking impressive for a sedan weighing 1200 lbs more.

I'd like to see what they can do with performance in mind.

Most impressive. Hard to beat an electric motor with all that torque off the line.

Impressive. A purely electric all out supercar would be badass.

Not really impressive... more like expected. An electric motor that puts out 416HP will absolutely crush a gas motor in the quarter mile.... but the down fall is the car can only run about 130MPH... so do the texas mile with both these cars.. and then come back and tell me how impressive it is.

:jester:

I saw one of these in person at the Dream Cars show last September... I really liked the dash board and center with the controls. Like having 2 full size tabelts in your dash. LOL.

Its a family sedan, not high speed performance car.

I wouldn't complain if I had either. :D2

Single speed fixed gear with 9.73:1 reduction ratio

Two speed or possible 3 speed or something with a change in gearing, that Vette would be crushed easy, 1/4 mile or in the Texas mile.

Something Elise sized would be fun and they could call it the Tesla Roadster, which seems to have a nice ring to it. :jester:

Until they get the reliability up I wouldn't touch the S with a 10' pole.
