Tail Light Brush Guards

I need some help from the masses. I have been looking at tail light brush guards and this is all I can find.

HOWEVER my friend has these which is what I want.

I like the profile of the guard that traces the outline of the individual light sections.
I have a 2002 Silverado with 2003 tail lights he has a 2004. He got his off of Craig's list for $35 (asshole) lol . So no real help there on a brand or a source. I have tried Google trying different combinations of wording and years to no avail.

As time permits, I plan on going around to the various auto parts stores and looking at the catalogs that sometimes has what they don't show on their websites as well as seeing if my friend can contact the previous owner IF he purchased them new.

If any one can link me to a source I'd GREATLY appreciate it. I don't care what color as I'm painting them black any way.

No not INTENTIONALLY. I want them for looks also. Dress up the back of the truck to match the Warn Trans4mer I'm altering in the front.

So...... You plan to run into things with the front and you want the back to be prepared in case you forget which direction you're going??

I'm not a huge fan of those rear "guards." But, I can understand trying to make a consistent look. Good luck on the hunt!

That pretty much sums it up.

I got the brush/bumper guard with the truck. I invested about $300 between paint and the mounting hardware. Otherwise I wouldn't even have any of it on the truck. It does give it an aggressive look but, for now it won't see off road 'til I can afford to fix what I break.

Understandable and admirable that you're thinking that far ahead!

I've seen a lot more of these get ripped off when offroading than I have seen them protect anything. Some folks do like the look.

I do like the looks (black though. I've gotten WAY to anal to absorb my time in keeping a bunch of chrome clean. )I guess if I get to a point where they're getting ripped off I'm going to be more pissed about what the rest of the truck had done to it.
