Tobias, I found the pics from those threads we beat to death on this subject over on GMT.

The blue PUTCO ones are going to match the PIAAs the best, I think in the 900.

Not sure what I am going to put in the Tahoe fogs yet.

Question for ya, what did you put in your 'hoe assys for DRLs, etc?

I put the amber bulbs in the DRL's but they light up too bright and look odd with the marker lights on as well so I just left the amber bulbs in place for looks when off and now I just flip on the markers anytime I drive. My DRL's never get used. If I could find some single element ambers that would only light up as bright as the markers do, I'd be all over them.

I run the Putco bulbs in my fogs. Much better than OEM but not quite PIAA level...

I have the white. I don't like the blue lights as well myself.

I already tried that. It wont work right because of the way the socket it wired. It seems the socket has to be butchered and re-wired to get the low voltage filament to light up. I'm gonna do it one of these days if I ever get around to it. What I'm gonna do though is wire it up and a parking/turn signal bulb and have no DRL's. When I'm done I'll have 2 bulbs for turn signals, just like the lights on a GMT400.

Okay, I see what you are saying. Well, damn, maybe I will just get some more 4114s then :(
