Yes you disconnect the plug on the bumper and hook up one end of the harness and then the other end on the bumper hookup and then you can use both the 7 pin connector and the 4 pin connector at the same time. I had this on my Sierra and worked great. It made it easier to hook up the line of fire and no need to unplug it when towing. Which I think you are looking for!!
