my 1984 chevy has a 3'body lift, in the rear it has 8 springs and 2"blocks, the front has 6 springs and 1"blocks. for a total estamit of 7"rear and 6"front. i now know i have to take out the front blocks, what is the best way to gain back that 1"? also what other modifications should be done to the truck when adding the bodylift, spring and block lift? I know i have to raise the bumpers and gas tank but i know that there is more modifications needed when lifting a truck. thank you

Go with a bigger spring in the front buddy. Putting anything under the front springs is dangerous for a street vehicle.

Perhaps lengthening the shackles? I'm with the others. Remove the block. Not safe.
