Yeah. Anytime you add length to what is supposed to be an offroad capable vehicle, it diminishes its ability.

Jeep found that out when they added the 4 door Wrangler. Consumers who will never drive off road love em.

FALSE. Not in high speed off roading. Granted non of the peeps would use them to their fullest it. The longer the wheel base the smoother the ride. Proven fact in the off road world for desert racing and prerunning.

Well, that's a total fanboy stretch if I ever saw one. I'm sure .001% of the Raptors will be used for high speed off road racing. I'm equally sure people will be lining up to race the 6000 pound crewcab!

Ford has been touting the Raptors extreme off road capability in the rough stuff. Added length reduces the ability to maneuver in rough stuff. It's obvious they intend to sell it to Mall Crawler Soccer Moms. I don't blame them one bit!

Nope longer the truck, smoother the ride. http://www.dezertrangers.com/home.htm Hunt around and you will find prove. I really like what Ford has done. The off-road community is really small world. Mostly a west coast thing and not many people are into them. 6000 pounds is average for a full on race rig. True can not turn as tight but that is where ground clearence and suspension come into play. Ford has done a well done job on building the truck. Yet for the price I would build my own, they way I want it. Still not a bad truck and I thank Ford for opening America up to the world of deset racing greatly. So do many other people as well.

Point is a tiny tiny percentage of the people who buy these will even care. It's going to be a Mall Crawler.

the tail lights.... omg. :puke:

CC looks good minus the tails....

Headlights too...the lights really need to fit the body kit.

However, I am seriously considering a Raptor. The speed bumps at McDonalds really give my truck trouble. And the sand they put on the streets in the winter is a killer. I need something that can handle sand.......:D
