I've never seen one come apart like that but it probably was a good thing.
At least you didn't have a tow bill !

ya i was so glad it happened when we were headed back to the shop lol that would suck to have to call a tow truck to tow it down the street

Ok so I am curious what are the weight difference between the aluminum and the steal pulley and does that have an effect on the horsepower

ya it weighs quite a bit more but im not too worried about it. the guy that had the truck before me has a 2.8 inch diameter pulley on there and at WOT there was slight detonation so im not sure if he never had it tuned or the guy that tuned it just sucked cuz it did have an SCT when I bought it. now theres no detonation and its still crazy fast lol

I never knew pulleys could peel apart like that. Glad you got a steel one on there now.
