Super 44's will work just fine. I've ran them for years and have one on my fx4. Can't beat the sound and price.

what about the whole performance thing? i want sound but i also want to gain performance from it to

IF you are not going to do anything else to the truck, it really doesn't matter which muffler you go with. A stock vehicle with just a muffler change (no tune, headers, cam, etc etc) is not really going to gain much of anything but sound. This has been proven time and again. So, what it boils down to is sound. Pick the one you like the sound of the best. Most people think when they get a new muffler they have gained performance because it sounds like it is revving faster.

If you plan on having a custom tune, or other upgrades later on go with a straight through muffler. Talk to any reputable racer or performance shop and the majority of them are going to tell to stay away from a chambered muffler.

Another thing to consider is what it is made out of. I see you live in NM so I assume you see a lot of snow and salt. You can get a stainless Flowmaster but then you will pay as much or more then the Magnaflow.

Go to YouTube and listen to a lot of exhaust clips. If you like the Flowmaster sound, go for it. I still love it, but I will never have one on something I want to go fast again.
