Get an amp that puts out enough power at 4ohms but is 2ohm stable.

The 3 Ohm thing is the new way some of these companies are designing and rating their speakers. They claim that the speaker should only be 3-ish ohms because the wire adds resistance as well and that this new design will make everything work more efficiently when the amp is rated at 4 Ohm.

Wanna buy a W3 8 inch with dual 4 ohm voice coils?

After researching this I might be interested... how much would you be asking and how willing would you be to hold on to it? I'm just doing preliminary research now for when I have time/money this summer. After looking at this sub it looks like my best option so far. Any reason for selling it?

Also, are you sure it's dual 4 ohm voice coils because the 8W3v3-4's I've been looking at seem to be a single 4 ohm voice coil.
