Gotcha! Good catch. :D

I have a toggle switch wired into mine just for cases like this. You might consider installing one next time.

That is one of many reasons why I hate alarms and will never have one, I understand why people have them, I just can't stand trouble shooting problems like this on alarmed vehicles. It seems like every time I change a battery I end up disabling the alarm permanently because the damn thing won't turn off!

Sorry for the short rant there, glad you got it fixed, had a similar problem with the F250, turned out to be a bad battery that shorted everything out when I tried to start the truck.

Trust me, I have disconnecting my battery. Half the time I forget to pull the fuses from my alarm and it starts going off when i try to disconnect it. Then after I reconnect it, have to put the fuses back in, and hit unlock at the same time so it doesn't go off.

I have heard of similar issues with remote starts, and I have had many. The only issue I ever had like this was with Code Alarm. The shop was cool, and installed a Viper in it's place. I have had 4 of those, with no issues. The one in my Tahoe is 10 years old, almost.

Glad you got it figured out. That had to suck.
