ok so 2 weeks ago my truck didnt start, wiggled the battery cable and it started

week ago same thing, took a bit more wiggling and disconnected and reconnected battery to get to start

today it did it again, could not get it to start

when it doesnt start there is no clicking as if there is a dead battery, i checked the battery its at 12.5 volts, there is constant power to the starter, the relays do click on when key is put to start (again not repeatedly like a dead battery), zero volts on the start signal wire going to the starter even when key is on start, was going to jump the terminals to see if it would crank over, but id rather not being that my frame is 4" off the ground and i barely fit under there and dont have my floor jack at my apartment. i took the brain of the alarm out but that didnt help. not too sure where to go from here, pretty sure it is a wiring problem or possibly a bad relay, but not too sure

ok a little background of my truck:
05 5.4
code ca671 alarm(possible culprit)
jlt intake
longtube headers
hi flow cats
efans
tuner
lowered 4.5/8

so tomorrow i plan to take all the wiring for the alarm out to completely eliminate that as a problem, but i highly doubt that it the problem

someone on f150online suggested the neutral safety switch, which i followed with, my trans was just replaced by ford and since then this started and my shift indicator has not been where it used to, its on like the edge of the letters, instead of the center

Yeah we get that all the time with our work trucks, works as an anti theft too. I'm sure looking at a new one is fun till you think about making payments again. I do the same thing when I look outside my office and I see my 05. But I'd rather spend a grand later on to fix it and save the payments for the flex Maria wants.

yeah would rather not be paying for a new truck right now, would rather keep this truck and get a daily driver, danielle actually suggested that we buy a fusion as a 4th vehicle haha

a flex would be cool, i would drive one

I'm serious about the capitalization and punctuation. This is not a text conversation.

TRY and have respect for others having to read your posts. Seriously.

Almost every other member manages to do this; it's not that difficult.

She really liked them since they came out but after riding in Dave's Flex she loves them! I hope I can find a decent one at the auction though to save some cash.

Che, was looking at 09+ trucks, preferably an FX2. Would really like a 5.0, but they are a bit too new and expensive.
