Really though, is a rag top Smart car any less safe?

I woulda thrown it in the back of my Suburban and took it home for the kids to play with.

It would be interesting to use as a house for my aunt's boxer. The motor is good to use in a lawnmower.
I doubt it's really any less safe, unless it starts raining knives.

Its space-frame actually ends up acting like a roll-cage, not so weak as an average sheet-metal unibody.
