Funny how just the Airaid plastic tube on it's own cost more than a hundred bones for 2 bucks worth of molded plastic. This is the modern world we live in though, we used to pay that same price for an aluminum intake manifold that did about as much for performance. Speaking stock vs a performer intake and no other mods done. So I guess in way it's worth it being it takes about ten minutes and screwdriver to change it out for about the same amount of gains shown in the Black Bear testing.

I agree a sham to some extent but it does look better, will give you that "sound" and that seat of the wallet dyno could be worth more H/P than anything else.....
