It's a "Lets find Riggs a truck thread"!

Sticking with GMC, or looking at Chevy (oops), I mean Chevrolet?

gmc is my frist choice but it seems there almost a couple grand more just for the name

Congrats on the sale and good luck finding the replacement. I've been helping my brother in law for the last 2-3 months find a truck and he has the same budget as you...there is hardly anything available in this area right now. Used trucks are going for big $$ right now.

Congrats on the sell. It doesn't sound like you need a Duramax, but they can be had for that budget. My Dad has an 2005 2500HD that he gave $22,000 for 2 years ago. It's an LT Crew Cab 4X4 that is loaded.

Something to keep in mind, 06-07 gmt-800's most seem to have 3.42's for gearing. But you tend to get more options for your money.

Like most have said, congrats, I think. You had a really sharp truck. I don't understand why you hated to drive it though. :dunno: Good luck on finding a replacement.
