I hear ya about wanting a pre-smog vehicle.. About 15-20 yrs ago, I thought about that for a while. But, I decided against it...

OK,well I called the guy...the motor is a 390.He said the rod bearings for #3 & #7 went.Also,the heater box has been removed because the heater box had collected a bunch of leaves and was afraid of it catching fire as a friend of his did.All the heater vents in the dash went with it,not sure if it has A/C(never heard of all this ).It has drums all around and has P/B,not sure about P/S.

He also stated the truck is in Non-Op(several years)and is still in the previous owners name,forgot to ask if he had the pink slip.I've never dealt with changing ownership while a vehicle is in Non-Op.....

I told him I wanted to trade my XR and he was not in favor of it but didn't say no.I sent him three pics....so we shall see what transpires.
