Ok, so the rootbeer candy samples arrived last and the 3lbs, and I HATED the way it looked in person, looks almost like a drab transparent light warm brown. Granted they were small flat panels, but the color didn't seem as vibrant as the examples I found online.
Figured I'd try one last place for powder, NIC Industries. hey have more powder colors than anyone on the planet.
They didnt have a rootbeer, but I asked the gal to send me as many samples as she could find in that family, copper, orange..etc
I've picked one I like, it's lighter, brighter and warmer in color than the rootbeer. It's a transparent copper.
Here are a few examples I found online. The sample I got isn't as yellow as these, but that could also be the reflection of the candy. I'll se if I can photograph it later and see how the color holds up on film. It's a nice, classy color, but def more like shiny copper than the rootbeer. I think it's still look good against the black and it seems unique enough that nobody really uses this color on their truck as an accent color.
