Most of our readers will agree – owning a late-model Camaro is a good way to attract extra attention from law enforcement, even when you’re on the straight and narrow. But per police, Tina Puccini-Perez, age 52, wasn’t exactly keeping a low profile, “racing” through a Burlingame, California residential neighborhood, then speeding away and running a stop sign when approached by police. After the cop tried to pull her over, a short chase and spin-out ensued, and the officer approached the stalled car on foot with his sidearm drawn. That’s when things went from “goofy” to full on WTF:

Per the police report, Puccini-Perez saw the officer, put the Camaro into reverse, and attempted to hit him with it, encountering the police car instead. Watching the video, you can hear the Camaro bouncing off the rev limiter as Puccini-Perez attempts to perhaps push the cruiser back far enough to make her escape. Instead, she was taken into custody, and plead not guilty to felony assault charges. She was held in lieu of $50k bail. Look for her sweet white ‘vert to make a star appearance on the police auction block soon, but be sure to budget for new rear tires…
