Overall, I like the Silverado more than the Ram, but I like the Cummins more than the Duramax.

Maybe wait for the Titan to come out with the Cummins.

Gotta admit the ISV5.0 didn't impress me.

Every brand has their issues. Dodge or GM would be the only ones I'd choose based on the issues Ford has had with the 6.0. If you stay stock you shouldn't have major issues with either of the engines or powertrains.
Most of the Cummins boys I know have had to do injectors(almost always the #6 cylinder) and the Duramax guys have blown head gaskets or injector rings. My friend, Hoss cooked the transmission in his Dodge without using it for towing but it was tuned up.

Lol, I'm a truck guy and I drive a Oldsmobile. But then I do have a dump truck that I can use.
