Remove Rear Speakers, 93 GMC??

I wondered about cutting them out from the front with a Dremel and replacing that way. Maybe make a "filler" ring if I had to cut out larger than the replacements...anyone tried that?

That's really the only easy and sensible way to replace them. Some people have actually replaced them with 6x9 speakers:

My old Rockford 4x6s sound pretty damned good... On par with the Pioneer 6x9s I was running at the time

They're also good for 80W RMS
