Seriously. I think I should just go with a onecoat orange with some flake in it. It will bring out the orange in the copper anodizing.
A sunburnt orange will have some gold highlights that would tie it together with the anodizing. And it's once coat, it can't get darker no matter how heavy or light the coats are applied.

You are over-thinking this. The silver will look fantastic.

Then I'm doing a silver with a clearcoat with large metal flake, like a starlight clear for extra bling.

No. That officer called me last night, he sounded annoyed. His exact words were "Ok, this guys stories are starting to become convoluted"
At least he is realizing what I've had to deal with for the past 2 months now.
Something about the package being returned to USPS from UPS since the label was destroyed or something, that he is dealing with AJ FInk to get the package back, I have no idea what that means, nor does the officer.

I may have found a new local powdercoater.
This guy is young and has only been doing this for a few years, but his work looks real good. I've seen enough powdercoating I can tell he know's what he's doing.
We talked yesterday and he's on board to take care of things for me.
And he's a decent photographer too.
