I am liking the Dark Charcoal Powdercoat. Wife agrees also.
I was too at first, but I have to say the Bright Silver makes the copper really POP.

I am also going to recoat the UCA's and skidplate in the bright silver, or stainless steel powders since the copper in the wheel well and under the truck looks virtually black I checked already.

black. i was gona say the silver but being that it matches the strut, it kinds blends in a bit too much.

I think they look good as-is. While not a perfect match, it probably won't be very noticeable when mounted on the truck. Black would also be a good choice, or a silver that matches the shock body would also be a possibility.

Just a side thought: How well is the powdercoating going to hold up on a spring that is flexing all the time while driving? :dunno:

Powdercoat is VERY flexible, it's basically a plastic coating. Far more durable than any paint would ever be, especially on surface that would see a lot of flexing.

Cool, I had never really looked into it's properties.

Yeah my powdercoater a few years ago showed me a thin piece of metal he had bent back and forth over hundreds of times in the past 10 years and the powder never flaked off at all. Quite amazing actually.

I like the color of the coils and I like the color of the shocks, but I don't like it together. Under the truck it would look close and most people would never notice, BUT you would know it.

I like either the darker charcoal color or black.

Fixed. :)

That same darker color on the springs that's on the UCA when placed on top of the OEM UCA in my wheel well looked almost like black in broad daylight. Granted sun was NOT shining into the wheel well..but, I as taken back by how dark it looked. That needs to change.

No vote on the silver or ss? :fume: :D

Stainless would be alright, I think. The silver is just too bright.
