I looked into that before. If you have Bose, IIRC they have some plug in adapters. I don't remember who, plus it seemed to be a headache. Much easier to get a good aftermarket HU.

John is right, for the money you'll be better off getting something aftermarket and putting it in your truck.

To be honest, you just might be better off getting the wiring adapter kit that allows you to tie into the AUX on your radio. This will work if your radio is Cd Changer compatible, even though your truck might not have a cd changer you can certainly add the Aux input with a 3.5mm jack to go from your phone to your radio. That trumped bluetooth clarity anytime with your phone on speakerphone.

If you are dead set on a bluetooth set up, make sure you dig deep on the bluetooth reviews. You can always turn your truck volume up loud but you can't do anything when the people on the other end of the call can't hear you. That's why I have always felt like speaker phone and line into the radio worked better.

I checked into this a while back. Too much hassle, and it not exactly cheap either. I also checked into it again when I swapped out my stock radio for an Alpine unit that was "Bluetooth ready". I can buy a Bluetooth model that is supposedly plug and play, but now my radio is considered "old because it was made in 2008, so I will have to but adapter cables as well. It will cost me damn near $350 to add Bluetooth to my "old" Alpine radio. For that much, I will just upgrade to a newer radio when I get around to it, and with more features than just Bluetooth. Pandora app compatibility is a good feature to have, we have it in my wife car and it's the shiznit.
