Pulling codes Pre OBDII

Check to see if you have any blown fuses. One ..the cigeratte lighter. Some vehicles use a common fuse fron one accessory to power the OBD port.

All fuses are fine that was the first thing I checked... I always follow the KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid) standard

OBD port has power as it turns on the Creader but it just flashes dashes instead of codes. I've just read a special cable is required to plug into this OBD port though, theres a difference in the # of pins apparently...
