It's getting closer. We were hoping to have it running tonight but FedEx showed up late with the rockers and the rockers needed to be clearance for these big springs. Things go as planned (don't count on that) it will be making noise tomorrow.

Cool Robert. Are you going back and forth to your Dad's each night?

No it is hit and miss when I can go. I doubt I'll be able to go the next few days so he will be on his own.

Almost time to fWONk shit up woot!

Are you ever planning to move to the LS world with this car? I think a built (ls2 sourced) 408 stroker with a giant carb/manifold would be epic. I only say this because the lsx454 blocks are ridiculously expensive.

Don't get Carl started.

 Burn it up, Doc!
Well ya see here, I personally would build up an aluminum 5.3 block and get it re-sleeved for a 4.125 bore. Cheap block, and only about $1800 to get it re-sleeved. :pimp: You could run a 427 or go with a longer stroke and run a 440 or go big with a 454. The thing would be close to bullet proof with some forged internals. Can you say 700hp before the juice.
