Parts sorted. It's all here! No missing stuff. WOO HOO!

Lift amount is sorted out. This will be the height of the suspension but the larger tires will add another inch or more to this. This is with the spare on.

WOO HOO!

Got more parts in today. Transfer case drop, sway bar links, and my front door speakers!

Decided to go ahead and mount the Coopers on my Jeep Ravine wheels. They look great on there! (I'll be hunting some other wheels for the BFGs)

Today's progress:

Other stuff got in the way so I didn't get started until 4:30 and worked until about 8:00.

Other than mounting the Coopers, I got the front suspension all done. Shocks, springs, control arms, sway bar links, track bar, etc. All good to go! Here's a crappy night shot in the garage of the suspension stuff.

Here is a pic with the front end all buttned up and the Coopers installed. You can begin to get an idea how the Jeep is going to look when done. Rears are still stock. Right now the front is up a whopping 6.25 inches. It looks a ton better!

Hopefully I will get the rest of the suspension mods done tomorrow. I wanna go play!

IT LIVES!

Got the rear suspension all buttoned up this morning. Leaf packs, shocks, sway bar delete, repositioned brake and ABS plumbing. I still have alignment and tint to do... then it's of to the interior for some more upgrades.

WOO HOO! I love the stance.

Not much visual to report. Got the suspension all buttoned up and aligned. Steam cleaned the undercarriage, painted the axle housings, and undercoated the under rockerpanels and rear wheelwells.

It drives great! A little stiff and very Jeeplike. WOO HOO!

Next is a 3 row ALL METAL radiator, new high volume water pump, all new hoses, belts etc. 00 and 01 4.0 has a distributor-less ignition system but I'll be replacing the plugs and doing new fluids everywhere. I'm pretty happy with it.

I still intend to paint the lower rockers and tint the windows.

UPDATE

Had the Jeep one month as of tomorrow.

I think it has made major progress in a month.

Painted the lower rockers and doors to match the bumpers and flares. I like the look a lot better. What do you guys think?

Even the underside of the Jeep is clean. Nice thing about our climate is nothing rusts. Minor surface rust only on bare stuff like driveshafts, etc.

I'll get some underhood pics when I put in my new radiator and waterpump.
