drums out back? thats a relativity newer truck... why dont ya have disks?

GM stopped putting discs on the rear of the 1/2 tons, for the most part on the GMT900's. Only a few specific packages receive discs.

The drums are more than sufficient, especially on a RCSB.

GM went to drums in 07 on half tons. Prior years had discs. This truck stops better than my 05 ever did. Not sure what the reason / logic there was on GMs part.

AH... I stand corrected. So.... My 01 had discs but the 05 did not. I forgot they changed over that early.
