2. use up the summer washer fluid and replace with -40 washer fluid

You actually use your washer fluid that much that you need to change from summer to winter? I think I still have the factory fill on mine.

I use mine all the time. I bet I fill it up 4 or 5 times a year!

The summer time, not so much... One bottle lasts me all summer, even my bosses work vehicle only goes through at most 2 or 3... But in the winter, I'll use at least 2 or 3... Slush splashes pretty good

Hey Jeff have you tried the hot tub filter cleaning trick on the AEM yet?

No, but I plan to in the next week or 2.

I may give it a shot this weekend. I will let you know if it disintegrates.

Ok, for all of you who live where you actually get winter. What do you do in the fall to prep your vehicles for the long cold winter?

1. Change oil/filter
2. Grease the 2 zerks I still have fume,
3. Clean the air filter
4. Clean the engine bay
5. Wax my wheels
6. Get my Auto Butler paint sealant/detailing done
7. Wax. (once the Auto Butler program expires after 5 years).
8. Check the battery (depending on age).
9. Check the coolant.
10. Rotate the tires.

Plus I change the fuel filters. Put the winter fronts on (diesels) when it gets below freezing. Run power cords outside for the block heaters. Air up the tires. Throw a blanket, set of gloves, and an ice scraper inside, and make sure the glow plugs work.

Winterfronts don't usually show up until temps start hitting -10 or -15*C up here...
