almost certain its the pump. it started grindin... i pulled in the parts store.. andsnap. no power steering. its undriveable without power steering... its VERY hard to turn.


QUESTION. i have the pump out... how the hell do you get the resivoir off the pump itself??? confused.... theres 2 nuts on the back that look like they hold it on.. but icant budge them.

QUESTION. i have the pump out... how the hell do you get the resivoir off the pump itself??? confused.... theres 2 nuts on the back that look like they hold it on.. but icant budge them.

You will need a proper puller to remove the pulley from the pump, the two bolts will allow removal of the pump from resevoir( use a hammer if needed LIGHTLY). Be careful not to tighten anything too quickly or it will leak(especially the pressure line). :(
I've replaced my pump "once". Lets just say that after 6 times of install an reinstall ive got it down to 15 mins tops.:jester:

i have a puller.. pulleys has been off since i started... lol.. i just cant get the reservoir off.

This is what im talking about. These 2 bolts.

Here is the new pump. Its got threads for the bolts. Ive tried loosin the nuts, poundin on the pump.. im out of ideas. any help?? im thinkin this bitch dont seperate.
