I've only used Seafoam one time. :dunno:

:withstupid: I did it once, since so many people claimed it helps with cold start knock (piston slap). I had a crapload of smoke like that come out. But I didn't notice ANY improvements in the CSN, or in the performance or fuel economy. :dunno: So I saw no reason to use it again since I did all that work and saw no benefits of it at all.

I didn't get the smoke show, but the old truck did seem to run smoother. :dunno:

Is this the same as it can be used for many many things or just as a fuel system cleaner?

I know some people don't like the idea of Sea Foam treatments. I've never seen any reason to use them, so I've never really done much research into them...

Oil changes, and filter changes along with PCV valve changes all when needed or required after use in the sand, mud, dust ect will keep you running just finbe for many, many miles and years.

If you realy need to do this a can of brake cleaner in my opinion will do a much better job instead of these products and it only cost $2.00 or so.
