I still know some that actually use the old fashion water in the intake trick while reving up the engine.

I did it once, since so many people claimed it helps with cold start knock (piston slap). I had a crapload of smoke like that come out. But I didn't notice ANY improvements in the CSN, or in the performance or fuel economy.

I didn't get the smoke show, but the old truck did seem to run smoother.![]()

Is this the same as it can be used for many many things or just as a fuel system cleaner?
Do explain...but they liked the fact that they could spray it.
Power Foam comes in a spray can, from what I can tell Sea Foam doesn't. At least the cans of SF around here are not a spray can.
I know some people don't like the idea of Sea Foam treatments. I've never seen any reason to use them, so I've never really done much research into them...
