I've purchased many things at PB over the years.Bought a set of wheel & tires for my old '77 GMC.AfterChris totalled it I took 'em off.The wheels are on the burb now and the tires are on wifey's burb...still going strong  I've always had good luck at PB,but then I'm carefull what I buy there. Most of their stuff is name brand and at decent prices.I'll allways go there first for a part,if I don't like the looks of it I'll go to O'Reilly,Carquest or NAPA.Wonder what this buyout will do to their prices?:dunno:

I've purchased alot of things from Pepboys. I had work done on my truck and mustang with them. Ever had a problem with Pepboys. I get all of my oil supplies from them. The price are good if not better then other store in my area. The one I go to have a hot rod shop in it. They sell every thing you need to fix a custom car from engine parts to seats and wheels.
The NAPA store in my area is small and Autozone is more money.

I don't have anything against them. You sorta have to wade past the aisles of stick on "accessories" to find the good stuff.

I said I haven't bought anything from the Pep Boys here. I take that back. I forgot I bought a Lund bug shield from there a few years ago. Last year it cracked, so I just tossed it and ended up not getting another one. They did have the best price too, because I remember shopping around before I bought it. Its still on my Burban in my old sig pic below.

There are a few in my area, I usually buy fluids from them. Prices are usually better than anywhere except wal mart, and it's a lot easier to get to.

They're not around here and I've never been in one, but for some reason we still have ads on TV for them. :dunno:

At one time I preferred Pep Boys over AutoZone and Advance. Discount was always my go to place first though.
