If you need GM (or MOPAR) parts, don't bother fucking with GMPartsDirect, try PartsZoneOnline. I've only ordered from them twice now, but I can already tell you that they are far better than GMPD. Both of my orders were shipped on the same day, in fact, with my first order, I had a tracking number within an hour of placing the order. When I ordered from GMPD, it always took them a week just to ship the damn thing.
I haven't tried PZO's customer service, but considering they have both a phone and fax number, I seriously doubt they could be worse than GMPD.
The only thing that I do not like about them is that you have to contact them if you want to know what the shipping costs are prior to ordering. When I ordered a new GMT800 steering shaft, they were slightly higher than GMPD, by about $1.50 IIRC. However, for my transfer case encoder sensor, they charged half of what GMPD wanted for shipping.
