When I got my truck (89 octane), I averaged 15mpg (driving year-round for 18 months).

After my CAI, exhaust, and Black Bear tune (for 91 octane), I'm averaging 16.25mpg (driving Apr-Nov).

Granted, my BEFORE numbers will be lower because I was driving it in the winter. If I compare Apr-Nov, I got 16mpg before (winter killed me; got 12-14 on average).

Specs: L31 350cu/in, 4L60E (corvette servo added), 3.42 gears, 31" tires

And yes, I have records from the day I bought it until now. :)

$65 each with rock auto... $125 each cheapest in GP

They read 0 volts now and then when driving... :uhoh:

and they are not fixed because???? :dunno:

The o2 sensors are stronger than me?
Oh come on Dennis, use some heat, penetrating oil/spray, and vibration. They gotta come out somehow!

If not, it just means its time to upgrade the exhaust!

Gonna take it for a long drive and see if I can get the old ones out... If that doesn't work, then I'll have to find a torch... Exhaust upgrade is last on the list... It's a 4.3... They're not a good sounding engine

I lost 2 mpg with the tires and front end lifted. However, now that I have just shy of 20K on it, it has improved around town.

My average for the last 1200 miles is 14.6, not bad for mixed driving in this heavy bitch.

Scott, isn't that pretty good mileage for a 3/4ton and 6.0?

Yes, I think so. If I do nothing but around town she is solid at 13. If I keep it at 65 in the freeway it will get 16 - 16.6 depending on which direction the wind blows

At 70, it gets 15.2, and just get bad from there. I made a 200 mile run at 75 and it got 14.5

Speed limit here is 65 max.

I think the 6 speed and the 4.10s help around town.

Oh hell yes, you know I am! If I let the Bear roar, she gets single digits consistently. I have been mostly babying it for about 1500 miles
