LOL

Man, I don't want to be. GM only puts a freaking lap belt in the "6 passenger" trucks, I might as well keep the console. I'm not going to put my wife or kids there. And you said it yourself with the burb after you drove one. I don't think I can go without a truck.

I really want a 16-17 LTZ, but not practical. The super duty has a headrest and 3 point belt for the jump seat. They even have instructions in the manual on installing a car seat there.

I'm not sold yet, but I'm not sure I can go without having a truck bed.

The SD is a sweetie. Best looking truck out there. I am just happy I did not get one after getting one at work. I am actually getting a "new" '15 SD tomorrow, replacing my '14.

You can't go wrong with either.

You will miss your Chevy, I promise :jester:

I love my console.

I don't doubt that. This has been a struggle for me. I have even researched aftermarket jump seats with 3 point harness.

100% truth, when Lauren and I were going back and forth about having number 4 one of my arguments against was my vehicle selection. She did not find that as convincing of an argument as I did :dunno: LOL

Have you been in a 17 SD yet? I like the redesign a lot better than the 16 and older. But, my brain and heart are having an issue. I just think it's a better fit for me than a XL or Suburban.

Got my 2015 SD today. Robert...LTZ

I don't disagree. BUT, you need to go look at the 17 to give a fair comparison. I don't see any comparison between a 16 and older Ford to the the current GM. Now, things have changed enough for 17 that it's not so straight forward.

If fwonking GM would put a proper jump seat in then there would be now discussions :fume::lol:

LOL. We had a brand new 17 in here! My boss brought it over to give to my salesman as a bonus. They are nice! You will like it. I just prefer traveling and towing with my GM. With the delete and tune...fuggettaboutit

I never ordered a new vehicle. My dad did back in 1976 for his 77 Chevy 1/2 ton step side pick up. Took three months to get it in IIRC.

Congrats. I like the way Fords look, just can't seem to buy one.
