They are also on my photography website
Nice shots. So whats the deal with tug boats? I worked offshore for 32 years, and welded out there for 25 years. I havent been out there since Jan,2015
I've always loved being on the water or near it. I would love to work on a tugboat but I applied to work for the ferries in San Francisco.
When I was in high school, and just after I got out of school, I worked as an auto mechanic. I worked at 2 different dealers. Then I learned how to weld. After a few years, I ended up getting a job on an oil drilling rig in the Gulf of Mexico. Through the years. I worked for several different oil well drilling companies. Don't let TV fool you, oil well drillers are very environmentally conscious, although it was not always that way, it is very much like that today. The movie Deepwater Horizon is not to far off of reality. Had the boats responding to the tragedy not put the fire out, there would not have been any environmental catastrophe. but people panicked and put the fire out. The fire would have burnt off all of the oil. I have seen many things offshore. Very much wild life. Crystal clear blue water, you can see down 150 feet easy. Here are just a few pics.
