Nice job J! I'm still jelly that you have such a clean one. The one I had was a mess(don't have it anymore :()
:( you need another one! I got pretty fortunate in finding this one being in such solid shape and being so low miles. I cannot wait to get a fresh paint job on it.

I do want one. Love to get my kids involved on how to work on these older trucks.

That's another big reason I bought. So far 3 of my 4 boys have at least watched and learned quite a bit since we brought it home so that's been pretty cool :)

Did a few piddly things on the dually today...

New coolant reservoir. Not sure I’m 100% happy and may get a custom reservoir.

New windshield washer fluid tank.

Detailed the inner wheel wheels

Polished the wheels a little. The previous owner left them super dirty

After

Removed the blue writing on the tailgate that was there from when the previous owner bought the gate from the salvage yard

I was gone for the full weekend so this is what I did this afternoon after we got back in town

I’m also thinking I’m gonna have to get some tires. 6 tires is spendy

Rides pretty decent for a 1 ton, honestly. I was expecting a much harsher ride but it's not bad. The overload springs clang around a little bit but that's probably because the bed is empty and I'm not towing anything so they have nothing to do LOL

I'll have to get a better, full truck pic or two of it this week or this weekend. Cleaning up the wheels on it made a huge difference! I'm pretty sure it'd been a couple years since they'd be cleaned last.
