I know a few of us have been really itching to get some products from Jason for the upcoming Season's Detailing :D

At least I have. I wanted to make a thread where we could all come to and ask questions for Jason about Adam's Products.

I'll start:

Jason, I already have a Porter Cable 7424XP. I want to do some more paint correction this spring. I am seeing some slight swirls around the doors and the hood has a few. I just wanna get here back up to what it was last spring. My dilema is the Kits. I wanna get a nice kit but I also don't need some of the things they come with (so I think)

I want to get some pads and some swirl & haze remover etc...for paint correction. I have a 5.5" backing plate that I got from Autodetailingsolutions.com last year. I have plenty of Meguiars Hyperdressing and All Purpose Cleaner (1 gallon of each).

So what would you recommend to get me back to where I need to be.

Goals:

  • Slicker Paint
  • Better protection
  • Get Rid of some scratches (that can be fixed)
  • Nice Shine
  • Blacker looking Trim
What kits would you recommend? I wanna price some stuff out so I know, what to save for.

This is what I was thinking about getting

Dual Action Car Polishing Accesory Kit

ONE JUMBO WASH MIT & I would get a smaller one for the lower half of the vehicle

1 Gallon of Car SHampoo

I have two buckets with Grit Guards already

Any other suggestions?

Here is of my problem areas from the previous owner :fume: It's smack dab in the middle of the driver side rear door

I can't feel it with my fingernail (which I think means its just in the clearcoat :dunno: )

The 5.5'' backing plate will not work with those pads. Youll need the 1st kit you listed.

The Super VRT will deff give you what your looking for as far as the trim/tire goes. Or In and Out spray for the harder to reach areas. The Super VRT is almost water proof, and will not sling.

So my backing plate won't work? What do I need for the paint correction? Am I on point for that?

Adams polishes are great, and simple to use. Definitely an excellent product.
