Odd Tire Wear...have a look

That's very common tire wear on a GMT400 truck. You can minimize it by running a little more air in the fronts. The geometry in the front end of those trucks always wore tires on the edges from cornering.

How much more air would you recommend? I currently have them at 35 all the way around.

Also, these trucks are known for loosing alignment VERY easily. And yeah, the toe in is kinda crazy.

Well I've had trouble in the passed finding a repair facility that will get the alignment right now not just in spec. They check it using a computer and adjust if necessary but I've been told by the shop mechanics that those machines aren't really that accurate.

My buddy in the automotive program at school did mine so I know they took their time getting it right.

I usually run 38psi front, 35psi rear. I also rotate my tires once a year (so at or less than 10k miles).

I never really have messed with tire pressure much. Always just did what oem says. But if a few pounds will help my wear issue im up for it. Also the shop down the street says its $80 for an alignment. So i guess this is getting added to the list.....again.

I only run more in the front because of the weight difference. With them lower, they seem to bulge out more. The extra 3psi seems to do the trick and not have any negative side effects besides a slightly stiffer ride.

Yep, 400s need checked with more frequency. I would definitely do it with any new set of tires.
