Crawl underneath someone elses with a hammer and hit the yellow boxes

Nothing has changed on the truck itself other than that I took the headliner and sun visors out (to figure out mounting the OHC). I ordered the last part I'll be throwing at it yet this year.
I'm REALLY hoping to get to work on the wiring this Saturday. I gotta get that done. Then I'll spend another day putting the interior back together. Once the wiring is done, I'm planning on spending my Monday's off working on it as much as possible. The big things after the interior gets done will be exhaust, CAI, and headlights/HID's along with some more wiring and relays for that (I'll be doing the exact same thing that I did on my Z71 for the wiring).
I've got a lot to do and time is quickly running out!
Quick questions
1) Door lock cylinders for a '98 Blazer would be the exact same as the S10 wouldn't they? (RockAuto doesn't list them under the S10, but does list them under the Blazer)
2) How do you get the rearview mirror off the windshield without breaking the glass? It looks like there's a clip on the bottom of the mirror, but I can't figure out which way to move the screwdriver to release it....safely.
I don't believe there is a screw, but I'll double check this weekend.Nothing has changed on the truck itself other than that I took the headliner and sun visors out (to figure out mounting the OHC). I ordered the last part I'll be throwing at it yet this year.

Is there not a screw in the center of the mount of the mirror that is attached to the window? I thought that most mirrors once the screw is loose you slide out the mirror from the metal glued on bracket pushing it up towards the headliner.
Yeah, that's what I thought. I guy shattered his windshield removing his though. If there's no screw, it should just slide up...
There's gotta be a trick to releasing the clip.
I'll mess with it Saturday.I was gonna go with a '98 Blazer, but I might see what they've got for a '99 just to be on the safe side.Should be the same... As long as their the same body style... '98 up should all be the same, I think only 96/97 were the crossover years

Never mind. The '99 Blazer has the same part number. They don't list any locks for the S10 at all (from '98 to '01 at least), only for the Blazer for '98-'99. That makes no sense.
