Did you guys cry when they ditched the pop up headlights too?

Nope, I'm no fan of pop-up headlights. That said, pop-up headlights are not iconic like the tails are.

Pop-up headlights were a Corvette trademark from 1962 as well, they just died out after 2004.

Either way we'd probably gladly take a C7 but will probably never own one.

The headlights changed many, many more times than the tail lights, and substantively so. The tails were circles 90% of the time and when not circles, they were squircles. Changing the tail lights though is like flattening the front fenders or adding two more doors.

Different strokes, man.. To me, those round lights fit fine on the old car. But, with the rest of the lines on the car, I just don't think they look right on the new car..

Embrace the new or buy the old. fWONking up the new car with the old lights...... Man, what a waste of money!

I can't go along with that. Even Ferrari still uses round tails on most of their cars, and their designs are every bit as edgy as the new Vette... It's just one of those tried and true sports car icons.
