Everybody here knows my truck is Fred. My neighbors will even come up to me and ask "Hey Jim, where's Fred?" if I haven't had the truck out in a while.

My friend called his old truck Fred because it was an old work truck that came from a local A/C and Plumping company called Fred's and still had the graphic on the side. He then bought a new truck and called it Lil' Fred even though it was a good 8 inches taller than his first one.

A "Plumping" company, huh? What do they do? Take skinny people and fatten 'em up? Sort of a reverse Jenny Craig?
