Newbie question: Removing rear suspension blocks... Bad?

Read thru my thread and I should have part numbers for all the stuff I used when removing my blocks.

Its funny, yours is one that I read through and somehow missed the part about rear bumpstops. So, now that you've had them cut down for 5 years - notice any negative effects?
