1500 mile thoughts...
1. That engine/transmission setup is pretty damn nice. Good power when you need it, decent fuel economy on long hauls.
2. The traction control sucks ass. Almost got me stuck going through mud last week. I was driving through a huge puddle on a caliche road, and with the traction control on, I could barely move. Turn it off and no issues at all.
3. The seats are probably the most uncomfortable seats I have sat in in any current generation vehicle. I am going to have to get something so I can stand them for my 100+ mile away jobs.
4. Needs a switch to turn on the bed light. I don't like all that automatic bull.
5. Seatbelts for the front need to be on the seats like the older style GM's were, so on an extended cab vehicle, you can still open the back doors with your seatbelt on.
6. Radio sounds shitty below a certain volume. Turn it up enough and it sounds fine.
All in all, so far I am happy with it. Its tons better than that crown vic could ever hope to be (it actually was in the shop a week after I gave it to my mentee, the wiring went to hell...)
