I called AEV today for a progress report, and they sent me this picture. This is the first I have seen the Jeep being as it was shipped directly from the assembly line to AEV's facility in Michigan. They tell me they just got started tearing it all apart today. That is the 6.4 Hemi crate motor in the foreground waiting to go in. I'll start a post in the Jeep section when its done.

I've heard that putting a 6.4 into a JK is a tight fit, but I didn't realize you needed vaseline to do it. Notice the jar of vaseline on the work bench next to the engine. I'm surprised, AEV uses vaseline to get those 6.4's to slide in.
