Nice find.

I never checked to see if my heads were the Castech ones. But per Terry Dyson of Dyson Analysis recommending putting in the GM coolant tabs. So I have. I also want to say I read online back when I was researching them that GM put the tabs in at the factory as a safe guard due to the difference in an iron block and aluminum heads. Not sure how true that is.

All my UOA's have been coming back fine. No issues and no coolant in the oil.

I changed out all my original hoses this summer since mine is an 02 and 168k on it. I put in the coolant tabs and a bottle of AMSOIL's Coolant Boost.

I'll look into it when I pull the heads. I got the dread broken exhaust bolts on the heads. I was looking for some 243s to swap in, if I don't fix em. If not, I got a few 317s lying around. I can put them in and start looking for a turbo or procharger.

A turbo from a common rail 5.9 cummins will have 2lbs of boost at idle, according to the math, lol...
