I know with dodges you can lower just the back two inches. Can someone tell me about lowering a silverado? Can I just come down with the back a little? What's the different kits that are availiable?

Its pretty much the same as the Dodge. Just swap out the hangers and/or shackles.

I'm sure the 3.73s made a HUGE difference, my parents was 3.08 which has killed many V8s let alone V6s.

No doubt the gears helped. It had good grunt around town, but ran out of power at highway speeds. I loved the truck.

Hey, my first half ton was a 96 ext cab 2wd with the 4.3. Its not that bad.
